How it works
At the start of a round the system places the player at a predefined or random location. On the touchscreen the guest can look around in 360° and move through the scene as if they were really standing there. Several possible answers then appear — for example Copenhagen, Stockholm or Krakow — and the player picks where they think they are. The result is shown instantly and the next round begins. The game can run over several rounds with scoring and a time limit, so guests can compete against each other.
Which events it suits
GeoQuest works especially well at brand activations, expos, conferences, corporate events, festivals, automotive events, tourism events, airline promotions, roadshows and shopping-centre promotions.
Branding
The entire GeoQuest interface can be tailored to your brand: logo, colours, background graphics, typography, buttons, game name, questions and answers, locations, number of rounds, time limit, scoring, start and result screens, CTA and prize mechanics. The exterior of the touchscreen kiosk can be custom branded too, so the activation fits the campaign perfectly.
The world of the game can be your brand's world
You choose the world the game plays in. ✈️ AIRLINE: "Can you recognise our destinations?" ⚡ ELECTRIC VEHICLE: "How far could you go on a single charge?" 🌍 TOURISM: "Do you know the hidden places of Hungary?" We build the location database around your brand, campaign or event.
A fully customisable location database
One of GeoQuest's biggest advantages is that you do not have to play with generic world cities. ✈️ Airlines: only the cities and destinations the airline actually flies to appear — "Can you guess where we fly?" Budapest → London, Barcelona, Dubai, Stockholm. ⚡ Electric car brands: locations can be built around a model's range — "How far could you go on one charge?" — perfect for EV showcases, automotive events, brand activations and model launches. 🏨 Tourism and hotels: showcase a country's attractions, a region's cities, the sights around a hotel or a travel agency's destinations. 🏢 Corporate and internal communication: international offices, factories, stores, partner countries and cities tied to company milestones. 🎯 Campaign-specific locations: practically any custom location list can become its own GeoQuest game.
More than a geography game
GeoQuest is not just an entertaining quiz — it is an interactive experience that easily carries a brand message. Instead of reading which cities an airline flies to or how far an electric car goes, guests discover it themselves while playing. Playful education: product and brand information lands naturally during play. High engagement: the street-view style exploration keeps players actively involved. Short gameplay: a round takes a few minutes, so it handles big crowds well. Competitive: score, time and a leaderboard can all be used.
Multiple game modes
Multiple Choice: the player picks from 3–4 possible cities — the simplest and fastest event version. Map Challenge: the player marks the location on a map and scores more points the closer they get. Time Attack: recognise as many locations as possible within a set time. Brand Challenge: the whole game is built around a brand theme, for example "Which destination is next?" or "How far can you go?"
Competition and leaderboard
GeoQuest turns into a competition easily. Scores can be based on the number of correct answers, answer speed, or in map mode the distance from the actual location. The best results appear on a live leaderboard, encouraging guests to play again and beat each other.
Combine it with a prize game
GeoQuest also works as a promotional prize game. For example 3/3 correct answers = guaranteed gift, or the daily TOP 10 players enter the main prize draw. Digital vouchers, QR codes or physical gifts can all be linked to the game.
