How it works
The guest walks up to Lucky Button, presses the physical button and the machine dispenses a card. The message, task or prize on that card starts the next part of the game. No long instructions, no complicated interface: press it, take it, play.
Which events it suits
Lucky Button works at almost any live event where the goal is to engage guests, spark interaction or encourage networking. It is especially popular at corporate events, team buildings, conferences, expos, product launches, promotions, employer branding events, festivals, networking events and Christmas or kick-off parties.
Branding
Almost every element can be tailored to the event: the branding of the unit, the colour and graphics of the box, its shape and construction, the stand design, the lighting colour and mood, the look of the button, the card graphics and copy, the game mechanic, the prizes, the tasks and the teams. The device itself can be a clean black-and-white build, a fully branded campaign design, a glowing cube, a premium lightbox, a neon-style finish, LED lighting matched to your brand colours or a custom pattern. It is an activation platform that can look purpose-built for your brand at every event.
Lucky Card — instant-win
The classic instant-win experience. Guests press the button and receive a random card — it could be an instant prize, a gift, a voucher, a drink token, a discount, a funny message, a mini challenge, a "Try again!" or a Jackpot card.
Match Maker — find your pair
Two Lucky Buttons, two decks and cards that have a match somewhere at the event — Gin & Tonic, Batman & Robin, Romeo & Juliet, Sales & Marketing. When a pair finds each other, they collect a gift together.
Card Battle — team duel
The two units become team stations. Cards carry points and special powers (+1, +5, +10, double points, jackpot, steal 5 points from the other team) and the score builds throughout the day.
Secret Mission — undercover tasks
Every guest receives a secret task — take a group photo with three people you met today, find someone from another department, collect five high-fives — and the reward is drawn at a second Lucky Button.
Find Your Tribe — group match
Cards form larger groups — Gin + Tonic + Lime, or Pizza + Tomato + Mozzarella + Basil — and the full tribe has to come together to complete the task or claim the prize.
Why it works so well at events
The mechanic is instantly clear to everyone. Pressing a physical button is playful in itself, and the card gives guests something tangible in their hand. Lucky Button is fast, eye-catching, easy to understand, works with large crowds, is fully brandable, doubles as a prize game, generates networking, turns into a team-building activity and can be linked to other Gifie activities.
Combine it with other activities
Cards can send guests on to another station: 'Take an AI photo at the Gifie Photo Booth', 'Try the reflex game', 'Collect your prize at the Snack Supply bar', 'Show this card at the Bubble Tea Bar'. That way Lucky Button becomes the thread that runs through the whole event.
